The first day of June, Mel and Rachel were going to the Springville Splash Pad and invited us to go. Dad was trying to figure out some broken sprinklers in the backyard so I decided to take you kids and go to cool down. We hadn't been to the Springville Splash Pad before and we were expecting something like the Spanish Fork one. Boy, were we wrong! It was awesome! It had a pad like Spanish Fork but it also had a shallow lazy river with geysers all along it and a waterfall at the end. There was a lot of people there but there was plenty of room for everyone, unlike the Spanish Fork Pad. I think we will go there from now on!
Ariel was in Hawaii so Rachel had Scotland that week. What a cute baby!
Bailey tried to help Scotland in the water, he really didn't like the cold water much!
After a while the kids decided to go over to the playground, that was right next to the splash pad, to warm up.
Benji was having so much fun in the swing that Morgan thought that she would try. She ended up getting stuck! Thankfully Alberto helped her get out!
As soon as they warmed up they were back in the water.
Oakley started getting irritated with the geysers squirting him in the face at the wrong time, he doesn't like being splashed anyway, well it started becoming Oakley v. the water. It was pretty funny to watch it unfold.
At one point, I must not have been paying attention, Oakley had grabbed his towel because he was cold but then went back out into the water! Owen noticed quickly and ran out and grabbed the towel. Oakley was pretty mad and couldn't understand why he couldn't have his towel with him in the water. He just wanted to leave after that!
We had such a blast and can't wait to go back again!
