On January 15, 2013 was finally the Pinewood derby. Owen was so excited! Dad and him had sanded and spray-painted and sanded and spray-painted and sanded and spray-painted some more until it was just perfect. They applied a top coat and Owen carefully applied the stickers. Dad made sure the wheels were just right and they were good to go. They were both pleased with the out come. Owen got the "Most Dynamic Design", First place in track, Second place in circles, Third place in straightaway, and Second place overall. He was really pleased with the night and had fun winning all the ribbons!
