We decided to try out having a talent show this year since we have so many talented cousins in the family and they are getting old enough to share the talents. It turned out really fun and I hope that it keeps going and we can even get more of the adults involved!
Aarynn didn't prepare a talent but she was very talented holding baby Mayah and keeping her happy.
Lily wasn't feeling very good, I think she had a headache, so she was laying down in the house. I didn't even get a picture of her!
Bailey did prepare a talent but forgot her violin at home but she did do a good job at keeping Porter entertained during the talent show. That kid loved her and she loved him!
Madi had painted a beautiful watercolor of flowers. She is following in her mothers footsteps, it was an amazing picture!
Morgan worked really hard on choreographing a dance for her talent. She did a spectacular job, I still can't believe the amount of talent this girl has!
Cassi performed "Mean" by Taylor Swift she sang and played the guitar. She is crazy talented too!
Russell showed everyone some of the origami that he had been working on. It was really neat!
Owen had changed his talent about 10 times, he built a lego store and displayed that but he also wanted to demonstrate to everyone how to build a double glider. He was proud of his creation.
Bradley threw a baseball OVER the apricot tree! It shocked everyone! He also showed everyone how he can throw a Frisbee This boy is very athletic!
Elsie had prepared a talent of a little clapping song but she got nervous right at the beginning and quit. I think it's because it wasn't her true talent. She had no problem being in front of everyone when she was using her imagination, which I think is her true talent, this girl can get lost in her own world, which is a dying art these days.
Reagan had colored a picture to show everyone. She got the case of the giggles when it came time to tell everyone what it was, silly girl.
Abi did a wonderful cartwheel
Samantha did the hula hoop amazingly
SJ fought off Darth Vader for all of us
Porter did a somersault and counted to 10
Kyara did a really good cartwheel too
Oakley threw a paper airplane
Benji did a somersault
Seth showed us his muscles
Lahni showed us how she can walk
Scotland was going to show us how he can walk but he decided to just stand there, look cute and clap instead
Mayah showed us what a happy baby she is
Hannah showed us that she is an awesome sleeper
And last but not least, Sean and Alberto sang us a song in Spanish.
I think it was a complete success and so much fun to see all the different talents of everyone.
