Usually the house is covered with snow after Christmas and we have to wait a few months for it all to melt off to take off the lights. This year, with the small amount of snow we received, the kids were able to climb up on the roof and get them down before the new year.
Morgan was super excited and couldn't wait to get up on the roof. Bailey, on the other hand, was a little more hesitant, but she still went up, she just stayed on the roof over the garage which is not as steep.
Morgan was an animal and scaled the roof like nothing. Dad noticed that her shoe was untied so she stopped for a second to fix that.
Owen was playing at Callen's house but when he came home he was quick to hop up and help Morgan.
Oakley wanted to help out too and was really disappointed when we wouldn't let him climb up the ladder. Maybe next year...or the next...
Bailey started getting brave and started doing more on the steeper part of the roof.
Reagan finally got brave enough to get up on the roof at the last minute. She sure is getting so big!
The kids had fun and worked really well together. It makes me happy when they get along.
