Owen and Ozone

Ozone is continuing to grow!  He is a fun and easy pet.  He LOVES crickets but also settles for fresh fruits and veggies and his pellets.  He likes to be held as long as he feels safe but we always make sure the dogs are put away just in case he decides to jump out, we don't need the dogs to have a lizard treat!  He's never jumped out of our arms before but there is a first time for everything!

Pack Night Burning of The Flag

June's Pack Night was a very special one.  First when we got up the canyon all the cubs were given bags so they could go around and pick up trash.  After they got all they could find we handed out awards then roasted marshmallows for s'mores.

Once everyone was done with that we had a very special ceremony, we were taught what was done with flags once they get to old and worn to be used any more.  They had three flags so all of the cub scouts were able to participate if they wanted to.  It was a really neat experience and I'm glad that we were able to be a part of it.

Sprinklers!

Reagan had her first sleep over at Abi's house and was spending the day there.  Oakley was down for a nap.  Morgan, Owen, Savanna and Saria were bored and hot so they wanted to run through the sprinklers.  I told them to go for it!  They got all ready and started getting wet, well everyone except Saria, the silly girl said the water was too cold to get wet!  The older kids loved cooling off in the sprinklers!

After a while they started playing with the hose.  They started with a water limbo game.

Then moved back to the sprinklers

Then they started doing a challenge game.  They would come up with challenges and if someone wouldn't do them or would get wet then it would be their turn to think of the challenges.  They had a lot of fun with that game.

I love this one of Owen, he is reaching out his arms to help Saria over the stream of water because she was worried she would get wet.

This was the shower challenge.  This one you had to get wet in.  There would be different degrees of hardness and different seconds that you would have to stay in, if you couldn't stay in the whole time then it would be your turn to be it.

Rowan was happy to just sit on my lap and watch the craziness.  Pretty soon she'll be wanting to join in though!

The last challenge before I went in.  I couldn't believe that both of them cleared that water!  They need to be hurdlers!

Happy Fathers Day!

Dad has just about every tool there is to be owned and even if we tried to go and pick out a tool we would have no idea what to get him.  I came across this idea on facebook and thought it was cute so I just copied it.  We couldn't find regular sized candy bars of everything so we had to get some king sized and some multi-packs but I think over all it worked out pretty good.
The kids wanted to let their dad know that he is the best dad in the world for them.  They know he loves them and does everything he can for them, and he really does.  I am thankful that he is the father of my kids and there isn't another person on this planet I would want to do this journey with.

Front Yard Baseball

Ever since Owen started playing baseball with the city all the kids have been getting into playing it here at the house.  I wish we had a big back yard for them to play baseball in but the front yard works too.

Owen found Bailey's old bat from when she played softball.  He really liked the way it felt, he just wished it was different colors!

And of course we can't be in the front yard with out a few tricks from Morgan :)

Happy 11th Birthday Morgan!

I had no idea what to get this girl for her birthday!  She's past toys, has a billion different colors of nail polish, I just didn't know what to get her. While I was out shopping with Bailey, yes I did procrastinate, I text her asking her to name five things, not that she would get them, that she wanted.
She responded "Mascara, iPod, gum, push pops, and anything DANCE related"
Well the gum and push pops were help.  The dance related left me in the dark, did she want tights and shoes or fun things like shirts and shorts that said dance on them? I already had gotten her an iPhone for her birthday that she didn't know about so that cancelled out an iPod. And we have a family rule that you don't get makeup until you start your period unless you are getting your picture taken or your required to wear it, like Morgan and Reagan need to for dance.
So I text the next person who is a lot like Morgan, Cami.  She gave me some good ideas and Bailey and I stopped by Kmart to see what we could find.

We found some fun and different nail polish

Gum!

And more gum

Push pops

Nail stickers and hair chalk

HOT pink jeggings

After she opened up all her presents, I asked her if she was happy.  She said,"YES!"  I said,"Then I guess you don't need the present in the closet."  She jumped right up and ran to the closet behind the couch and opened it up, it took a second for her to find it but she did and came and sat at the counter.  She ripped it opened and saw the iPhone and squealed with delight!  She was very pleased with the sparkly case Bailey picked out for her.

After church she changed her clothes into her new jeggings and put her hair chalk in and I wanted to take some picture of her.  This girl just shines!  I love her so much!  She amazes me too.  I can't believe how blessed I have been to have such great kids.  Morgan is such a great helper, she helped me with the kids, especially Rowan, every morning while I was taking Bailey to school.  She used to be sassy, which isn't always a bad thing, but at times it would get tiring.  Lately though she is such a sweet and kind girl and the sass is gone!  She is so incredibly talented with everything she does, especially dancing, but not just that, she can run, swim, tumble, pretty much anything sport related she can do with ease.  I can't believe that she is going to be in Young Women's next year and going to girls camp!  Bailey is excited to have her there with her!  I'm glad my girls get along and I hope it stays that way.

I just love her freckles!
