My 36 birthday!

I'm a weirdo.  I like being behind the camera but Bailey got my camera out and started taking way too many pictures.  I really don't expect anything for my birthday except for the kids not to fight and for all of them to give me a hug and kiss.  Well this year they got me a little something.  Reagan colored me a picture from her new coloring book.

And Dad gave the kids the task of wrapping a gift he got me.  It wasn't anything big, just something he had picked up.  But the kids had a fun time wrapping it.

and wrapping it

and wrapping it, in the middle was a bunch of fake snow and

at the very middle were some gluten free cookies for me.  It's been 4 months since I have had anything with sugar in it.  These were very yummy!  Thanks!

Then there was fake snow every where!  I mean everywhere, I found more after I changed my clothes after church...

After church Dad surprised me again with this delicious fruit dish, since I can't have cake.  It was amazing and HUGE!  It weighed about 50 lbs!

Santaquin Parade 2013

Oakley and I were the only ones that were able to go and watch Morgan and Reagan at the Santaquin Parade.  Dad and Owen were helping with the pigs and Bailey was at a friends house.  We had to be there plenty early so the girls could get where they needed to be so Oakley and I had lots of time to wait.  He had a fun time smashing all of the ants he could find, and there were lots!
Finally the parade started!  There were so many fun floats!  It kept us interested plus most of them threw candy so it kept Oakley happy!

Finally the girls' float was coming but I realized that I was on the wrong side of the road!  So we ran across the street when there was a break so I could take pictures.  Morgan wasn't really part of the parade because she was in Stadium of Fire so she didn't learn a parade routine, but April asked if she could help with the 3-4 year olds, she was so delighted to say yes and was up on the truck going through the routine with the little girls.
Reagan was walking while doing the routine with a big smile on her face!  She loves so dance so much!  Even though it was a very warm day she was having so much fun!  At the end of the parade both of the girls got a Popsicle that was very well deserved!

Reagan's 7th birthday!

On August 3 my baby girl turned 7.  I just can't believe what an amazing girl she is turning out to be.  She is so kind-hearted, thoughtful, compassionate, silly, giggly, and cuddly.  I am so thankful that Reagan is in our family!
It was a crazy morning, she happened to be in a parade in Santaquin so we had to hurry and get ready and open presents then leave.  But later on I surprised her with a cake that she didn't pick out.  She was happy with my choice!

Had to get her a Minnie Mouse shirt to start getting ready for Disneyland!!!!

Making her wish

I love you my Reagie Roo!  I hope that all your wishes come true!

Oakley's last "Mom and me" swim lessons 2013

The "Mom and Me" class is the last one that they do.  I think they are hoping that it will be warm enough for the little ones but it never seemed to fail that the wind would pick up at that time!  I guess that's what happens when you build an outdoor swimming pool at the mouth of a canyon.
Oakley had some time to burn and loved playing on the giant stadium stairs at the lap pool.  He pretended that the railing was a machine gun.  Yeah, he's a boy.
He wasn't sure about swim lessons at first, which is strange because the few times we had gone swimming he hadn't really wanted me to hang on to him but in this setting he was clinging on to me for dear life!  I finally figured out that if we did the things that they taught us for a few minutes then let him have some free time he was much more willing to do what ever I wanted him to do.  He was going underwater to get rings and even swimming for short distances underwater.  His strokes were very "dog" like but at least he was doing it!
It was extra fun because he got to do it at the same time at Benji!  They had so much fun together and bonded a lot.  They are pretty good buds now, not that they weren't before, but they're even closer now.  It was also nice for me to have Rachel to chat with while the boys played. :)
