Aquadoodle

We love the Aquadoodle at our house. Morgan first got this when she was about two years old and it was well worth it's weight in gold!  The kids will start out drawing pictures and writing their names soon the the whole mat is completely blue!  It only takes about ten minutes to dry and they can start all over again!
Reagan and I were playing it the other day, Reagan was having so much fun with it I had to snap a few pictures!

T.M.N.T. and Owen

We hit some yard sales on Saturday.  We got a pretty late start, we didn't get out of the house until a little after 8:00 but we had a little bit of luck.  I found some skirts and flip flops (surprised?) I also found a lady who was selling scentsy stuff and she had a light bulb for sale, I grabbed it since mine had just burnt out. Reagan found a little princess book that also made sound effects and Owen found some Ninja Turtles.  He was so excited, he always likes playing with my little bros when we go to my mom's house but they just don't sell them any more.  They had two turtles, both blue, one had scuba gear and the other had some type of cage that hooked onto his back.  He was in little boy heaven and it only cost him $1.50!

Sprinkler fun!

The other day some of Reagan's neighborhood friends came over to invite her to run through the sprinklers at one of their houses.  Then the mom had to leave and they all migrated over to our house so I gladly turned on our sprinklers.  I loved listening to the little girls squeal with delight!

They all loved looking for rainbows in the water...they are such girls!  I love it!

Otter pops

It is finally summer and what better way to celebrate than with otter pops!  I love that otter pops are so cheap and that there are so many in a box.  It is definitely a summertime favorite!

Swimming Lessons 2011

We did the first session of swim lessons this year.  I was a little nervous about how the weather would be, the last few years we have had very wet Junes.  Luckily the weather was wonderful, with the exception of one day.  This year all the kids took lessons.  It was crazy but so much fun!
Bailey did really well this year.  She didn't take lessons last year and regretted it.  She almost passed, she just couldn't do the flip turn.  Finally she did the last day but sadly they had tested the day before so she still didn't pass.  She will keep practicing all summer and she will do great next year!

Morgan loved lessons and did really well in them too!  She listened to her teacher and almost passed, she didn't get her arm high enough out of the water on the front crawl.  Other than that she did so good, she also LOVED using the flippers!

Owen loved swim lessons and had so much fun.  He did quite pass either he had to work on his dives and his rotary breathing.  He didn't really like using the flippers until the last day, then he decided that they were pretty cool!

Reagan was like a little fish, she had fun blowing bubbles and swimming like a mermaid.  She did really well and will get to go to the level one class next year.

Usually I just wait until they are three to put them into lessons but since he is my baby I decided to do the mommy and me class.  He really didn't love the class but I think maybe because it was a little chilly still.  I still think I learned a lot of things that I can keep teaching him through the summer and hopefully next year he will have more fun!
