Christmas morning is always so fun! The kids woke up me and dad with such excitement and anticipation. Once we were up they started searching the house for presents. They gathered them all up in piles according to the paper they were wrapped in. Once they were fairly certain that all the presents were found then they looked in their stocking to see which paper was theirs. I love both traditions, they are so much fun!
At first we went youngest to oldest and then pretty soon it turned into a free for all. They were all happy with what they received and couldn't wait to open everything up. We just hung out at home most of the morning and then later on we went to the coop for Christmas dinner and presents over there. A week later, when Grandma Holdaway was ready, we went over there and did lunch and presents. It was fun to stretch Christmas out a week!
