We finally got someone to get the jeeps down, I think it was Andy. Oakley was so excited! He wanted to drive himself but he was running into more things than he should so I made him let Reagan drive. He still had a lot of fun. Maybe by the end of the summer he'll get the hang of things and he'll get to be in the drivers seat.
Dory and Chloe LOVED being in the front yard! They have been really good to stay close to the yard since we got the vibrating/shock collars for them. I have a remote and if they get wandering to far away I just push a button. So far I've only had to vibrate them and they come right back to me. We have tried out all the settings out (on our hands) to make sure they weren't too strong, and the vibrate felt like a strong cell phone vibration, and the two levels of shocks felt like a slight zing, one more than the other. It's been nice not to have to have them on a leash every second we are in the front and it's nice to have them not wander off too.
The kids love that the grass is getting nice and soft now. They are doing plenty of tricks. Morgan has learned how to do a back-bend now and is really quite proud, and so am I. She works really hard on her own to teach herself things to help her get further ahead.
And the cats have wandered back after the long winter. We didn't see them for about 4 months, maybe even longer. Then one day they came back wanting food. Good thing Bailey's hedgehog eats cat food so we had some on hand! They were still very docile and didn't mind at all being picked up by the kids.
Oakley and Reagan are working on their handstands too.
