Near the end of May, Barnett had their yearly fun run. It's a mile around the school and it happens to go right through our neighborhood. It's always fun to see all the kids. Some try really hard and some like to chat with their friends. They separated them by grades, Fifth and sixth went first, then Third and fourth went., finally First and Second, Kindergarten didn't participate.
I was over at the Wilson's when Morgan came bounding into the neighborhood. This girl is a natural born athlete. She can do anything she wants to do when it comes to physical activity. She ended up being the second girl to finish and fifth to finish in fourth grade. She was pretty proud of herself.
Owen's class came shortly afterwards. He was pretty tired but still had a good jog going. He didn't know what place he took but he felt good about running.
