Salem Pond

On October 12th, Morgan's class went to Salem Pond.  Her teacher Mrs. White asked if Dad or I could come and help.  I was watching kids that day so Dad went and helped.

Dad was in a station that helped collect bugs and Mrs. White said that it was the best bug station that they had ever had and they want him back in the years to come!

Mrs. White sent home a thank you card.  Which I appreciate since I didn't have any pictures of them there.

Halloween

Halloween brought us three sick kids.  Bailey was throwing up, Owen was running a high fever and Oakley had a bad cough with a runny nose.  We had a neighborhood trunk-or-treat that all the kids participated in but when it was over Bailey, Owen and Oakley stayed home with Dad while Morgan and Reagan continued trick-or-treating with me.  We decided to go to Heath and Vanessa neighborhood because there are a lot of houses there that are close to each other and everyone hands out pretty good candy :)

Carving pumpkins

We carved pumpkins the day before Halloween.  It was a very nice day and so warm so we gutted the pumpkins outside so we wouldn't get as much 'pumpkin juice' on our table and floor as we did last year.

 Morgan was pretty hard core.  She not only gutted out her pumpkin but she did Owen's, mine, Oakley's and some of Reagan's.  She also helped Dad clean up afterwards.

Now we are ready for Halloween!

Primary Program

On Sunday October 30th, the kids had their primary program.  It was wonderful, it always is, but the Spirit was so strong this time.  We were in a hurry before church so I didn't get to take a picture of them like I usually do.  I almost forgot after church and the kids were anxious to get out of their church clothes that they had to change back into them for me to take a picture.  Owen was not very happy that day and he wasn't in the mood for picture taking but I didn't let him off the hook and I did end up with one decent picture of him.

Sleepover at Alek's

Owen had fun with Alek when he spent the night.  Kamyelle had lots of activities for them to do.  They went to McDonalds, carved pumpkins, played games, jumped on the tramp, and watched a movie.  The fought the next day, but probably mostly because they were both tired.

Payson Market Trunk-or-treat

The Friday before Halloween, Payson Market had a trunk-or-treat, where they invited local businesses to participate in handing out candy to kids.  We kept going back and forth whether or not to go.  Last year when we went it was crazy busy and they only got about five pieces of candy after standing in line forever.  But the girls really wanted to go to it so we decided to go.  First we dropped off Owen at Alek's house for a sleep over and then we grabbed Cami and headed over.  It was about an hour after it started and the lines had died down so it moved relatively fast.  Most businesses were anxious to get rid of their candy so they could leave so they were giving the kids handfuls.  It was pretty chilly but not too bad and it was a fun activity for the kids.
