Memorial Day Picnic

For Memorial Day
we went to Grandma's house
we had a little BBQ
it was fun spending time with my family!

I don't even know whos camera this is
but Bailey liked taking pictures with it!

Morgan liked the eating best
she liked the cheesy chips!

Owen loves climbing in this tree
it is an apricot tree
it is quite mishapen
but it makes the perfect climbing tree
we hope that it never falls down!

Reagan is still being a pill
it is so hard to get a decent picture of her
I hope that she grows out of it soon!

But Madi still has a hard time in front of the camera
just kidding
Madi is such a goofball!
Her and Bailey get along so great
I think it has something to do with them both being the oldest

Happy Birthday Bailey!

I have always said
"Bailey is the perfect oldest daughter"
she is always helping me
she sees what needs to be done
and does it
she will do anything to help out
from doing laundry
to cooking
to cleaning
to taking care of the little ones
and she is rarely in trouble
and I am not just being biased
her teacher wrote on her report card
(which was straight A's)
"Bailey is such a jewel.
She has been such a wonderful student.
She is responsible,
smart,
helpful,
and just plain sweet.
It has been a privilage to teach her.
She has a lot of talents."
I think that we are pretty lucky to have such a special girl in our lives.

Well today is her birthday
10 years old!
Wow!
where has the time gone
my mom warned me that she would grow up so fast
I didn't believe her at first
but now I do
I am not sure I am ready for her to grow up
but it will happen no matter what I do
Well she go super spoiled
she got six Aeropostale shirts
which I love because they are super long
and she is super tall

She also got a Ripstik
she has wanted one forever
I love seeing her this happy
she is such a sweet girl
I am so glad that she chose to be in our family!
We love you Bay-bay!!

The LIving Planet Aquarium

Since today is Bailey's birthday
and Tuesday is Morgan's birthday
we decided to go some where fun
they both really wanted to go to the aquarium
so we went.
we decided to buy a year membership
(we only have to go one more time to break even)
The kids had so much fun
I think that they will find new things every time we go

Owen and Reagan were so cute
they held hands most of the time
he loves protecting her
she loves being protected
so they were both happy

They loved the Rays
(no surprise there)
Bruce was showing the kids
that there was nothing to be afraid of
Bailey handled the Rays like a seasoned expert
notice she only used the two fingers
like all the signs say
Morgan loved the Ray's too
she even touched a few fish
Owen really wanted to touch the Rays
but when it came down to it
he was just too nervous
Bruce tried to give him a pep talk
but it didn't work
maybe he will do it next time
Reagan didn't want to have anything to do with the Rays
Bruce tried to give her a pep talk too
but it didn't work either
maybe Bruce needs to work on his pep talks...

I thought that this picture was cool
Owens body is on the right
his face is on the left
freaky...
The rest are picture of all the animals we liked
I am warning you
there are a lot
but there are some pretty cool animals
I am glad the girls wanted to go
and I am glad that we will have more chance to go

I have to explain this one
this is a shark egg
they cut a section out
then replaced it with plastic
you can see the baby shark
squirming, wiggling, swimming
it was pretty cool

We got...

WORMS
Bruce went fishing the other day
He took the older three
they didn't have much luck
Morgan caught an 18" cutthroat
but the proclamation said that it was too big
and they had to release it
they only caught one other fish
so they cut the trip short
on the brighter side of things
they got to bring home all the worms!
Owen and Reagan have been loving them
everyday they ask, "Can I play with the worms?"
it is terribly gross
but it does keep them entertained

I was babysitting my nephew
He really wanted to hold a worm
he was just too scared
one of these days he will be brave enough
