Jolly's Ranch

Bruce's mom wanted to have a BBQ

at Jolly's Ranch for her birthday in September

It was lots of fun

we missed Toni and her family

Heath and Vanessa were in the hospital with Mason

so we took Chase and Sadie

and met everyone else up at Jolly's Ranch

We roasted hotdogs

had chips and melon

and topped off the evening with s'mores

Owen loved putting sticks into the fire

We made sure to let him know

that we only mess with fire if a grown up is around

While the Dad and Owen got the fire going

the girls got filled up on Cream soda!

I didn't take as many pictures as I thought I did
my battery ran out
plus I was worried about stuffing my face
We need to do these BBQ's more often
it was a lot of fun!

First day of school

I don't know if I will ever be caught up with my blog,

but I am trying!

The girls started school in August

Bailey started 5th grade

Morgan started 2nd

Owen was supposed to start Kindergarten

but we decided to hold him back

give him one more year to mature a little bit...

Both girls were very excited to start school

a little nervous

but still excitedBailey's teacher is Mrs. Buys

she is a fun, bubbly teacher

but she also expects a lot from her kids

Morgan's teacher is Mrs. Butler

She is more structured and firm

but very loving

Morgan was worried

she had heard from kids that Mrs. Butler was mean

But Morgan gave her a chance

and she loves her teacher!

Bailey was a little embarrassed with me taking so many pictures

Morgan wanted me to stay and take more!

What a difference a few years make!

Reagan's birthday

I am only two months behind

but no one really reads my blog anyways

so as long as I get it there for blurb it doesn't matter

:)

Well Reagan turned three on August 3

I still can't believe that my baby is 3!

We decided to get her a bike for her birthday

she can't really peddle her trike yet

but we didn't know what else to get her

and we knew that she would need a bike eventually

we got her a few other things

Hullabaloo

build-a-bear DS game

a new dress

new shoes

and some books

Kim and family

got Reags

a cute coloring book

and some glitter crayons
I think that she had a pretty good day!

Pizza night

After all the fun at the lake

we had yummy pizza

the kids loved it,

I think the kids ate more than the adults!

Infact,

I think there were a few adults who didn't even get any!

I think that this is turning into a new tradtion!

After a while of fishing

the kids decided to play in the water

the air was hot

the water was cool

it was a perfect combination!

to spen a lot of time with the little ones
